Hello folks,

I am still accepting entries for the next TrecScotland event at Aberfoyle, Gartmore House.

It is an ideal event if you are new to TREC. no previous experience required.
1. Level 1 and 2 routes are on safe tracks and involve very few gates.
2. The PTV ( cross country obstacles course) is in one field.....no chance of getting lost.
3. The venue is easy to find and is on good roads. Accommodation is very close to corralling field. entry fees include your evening meal on Saturday night

If you cannot compete this time then please consider coming as a helper or judge.....you can shadow someone experienced if you prefer.
ALSO..if you like it......you can follow up with another competition in close succession. Dot Still is offering Level 1,2,3,4 competition on 18/19 July near Biggar. The entry form is below....copy and paste into browser.

Veteran Horse Society Champs 2015

Class 601 Veteran Arena TREC (as per Winter Series)
Class will consist of MA & PTV only. 10 PTV obstacles, max height 70cms. In
the event of a tie, the highest PTV score will win. Open to TREC GB members
(all levels). Rider any age. Horse/pony 15 years or over.

Class 602 “Have a go” Veteran Arena TREC
Class will consist of PTV only. 10 PTV obstacles, max height 60cms.
Riders may be “coached” in this class but will be asked to move on once they
have scored zero for any one obstacle. Open to all. (You do not have to be a
member of the VHS or TREC GB to participate in this class). Rider any age.
Lead reins permitted. Horse/pony 15 years or over.

Eersal The Netherlands GB team win the Nations cup, and individual results in Level 4 European Cup class are as follows -- Sue Lee 2nd, Daniel Nolan 4th and best MA score prize, Hilary Barnard 8th, Dot Still 9th and Lynn Davies 12th, from 19 starters.
